We had a wonderful stay at Bucket Lock Cottage. The location was absolutely beautiful, with the Stratford on Avon canal right alongside the property. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. We loved watching the barges on the canal and chatting with fellow travelers. The hosts were friendly and helpful, even leaving a bottle of bubbly for our special birthday celebration. The little touches, like the log burner laid out for us and the chocolates on the pillows, made us feel extra welcome. we highly recommend Bucket Lock Cottage for a lovely and relaxing getaway in an excellent setting.

The cottage itself was so cozy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of space. We especially loved the log fire, which quickly warmed up the cottage on colder days. It was such a delight to stay in such a tranquil and picturesque setting.

The location of this cottage was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and right alongside a peaceful canal. The cottage itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. The private garden with a stream running along it was a lovely touch, creating a tranquil atmosphere. the host was friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed and even offering us a taste of his own brewed beer.
Although there were few negatives, I must mention that the bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable, with a noticeable dip in the middle. However, this was easily resolved by switching rooms with our daughter on the second night.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely and relaxing cottage in a stunning location. Situated alongside the Stratford on Avon canal, it offered a peaceful and idyllic setting away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage itself was well-equipped, with a great kitchen, comfortable beds, and cozy sofas. We enjoyed taking strolls along the canal, meeting friendly locals and fellow visitors. The proximity to attractions like Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, and the Cotswolds was a bonus. Despite being single glazed, the log fire added an extra touch of coziness. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like basic groceries provided. we had a fantastic time and would happily stay at this cottage again.
We did face a minor inconvenience during our stay as we forgot to bring bath robes. This meant having to navigate across the living room and down the stairs to access the bathroom, which lacked privacy.

The location on the canal was beautiful and serene, perfect for a quiet getaway. The cottage itself was cute and well-equipped, with a cozy log burner ready for us upon arrival. The hosts were friendly and even went the extra mile to reunite our child with their lost Travel Doggy. Special thanks to Paul for letting us sample his excellent Lock34 brews, a true local ale experience right at our doorstep. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this unique property.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

For the first time in my life, my family and I returned to the same holiday destination. It's truly unique, developing a bond with you and giving you more with each visit. The host, Paul, is friendly and amiable, going out of his way to adjust the room temperature for our kids. The pictures online don't do justice to the beautiful and spacious cottage. We didn't need to use our car the entire weekend, instead enjoying the tranquility of the canal and nearby villages. Plenty of parking space, a warm welcome basket, and comfortable furnishings make it a perfect getaway. Plus, watching narrow boats pass through the lock outside is a bonus.
Can recommend this hotel.

Amazing location with beautiful views of the canal. Being able to watch the narrow boats going through the lock right outside the cottage was a fun experience. The cottage itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for our stay. The friendly and helpful hosts made us feel welcome and even left a bottle of bubbly to celebrate a special birthday.
The lack of hot water in the en-suite toilet was inconvenient and the bathroom door lock needs fixing, as it caused us to get locked in. It would also be beneficial to have curtains for privacy in the living room and a shower curtain or door in the bathroom.

the cottage itself was surprisingly spacious, with a large living room packed with character. We made use of the BBQ despite the iffy weather, and enjoyed the idyllic location by the canal. It served as a great base for exploring local attractions such as Stratford, Cadbury World, and Warwick. We even had the opportunity to open lock doors for a passing barge with my granddaughter. the cottage was clean, well-equipped, and the owners were nearby but not intrusive. it was a fantastic experience and I would thoroughly recommend it. Cons: All good! 👍.
